A large lytic skull lesion is noted on CT, along with benign thickening along the inner table of the frontal bone (an incidental finding). MR depicts well the soft tissue mass within the skull, which is slightly expansile and easily distinguished pre-contrast from the adjacent fatty marrow, with enhancement post-contrast.
