Diagnosis:
Congenital Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation

MR Technique:
1.5 T scanner (Siemens Espree) using a body matrix coil.  Image 1: axial T2-weighted HASTE scan (TR/TE 1500/89 ms, scan time 53 sec, slice thickness 5 mm); Image 2: sagittal T2-weighted HASTE scan (TR/TE 1500/89 ms, scan time 49 sec, slice thickness 5 mm).

Imaging Findings:
Within the right lung base, several diminutive cystic lesions are present on the medial side. The largest of these measures approximately 5 mm in diameter and is adjacent to the trachea at the level of the bifurcation. The overall measurements of the segment affected by the cystic lesions is 2 cm X 2 cm X 1 cm.
