Improving MR Joint Diagnostics with T1 Water Contrast Using a RESTORE Pulse

Thanks to the moderate fluid contrast in the T1 RESTORE sequence it is possible to depict the smallest synovial, cartilage, and ligament pathologies, which are frequently concealed (at least partially) in the significantly higher contrast fluid of conventional PD FS measurements. The article shows how to adapt a standard T1 sequence and provides a number of examples.
