Meningioma

Clinical History:
An 87 year old male with anosmia and known diagnosis of meningioma.

Diagnosis:
Meningioma

MR Technique:
3.0 Tesla scanner (Siemens Skyra) using an 18-channel head coil. Image 1: sagittal T1_FL2D pre-contrast (TR/TE 440/2.5 ms, scan time 2 min 26 sec, slice thickness 4 mm); Image 2: sagittal T1_FL2D post-contrast (TR/TE 440/2.5 ms, scan time 2 min 26 sec, slice thickness 4 mm); Image 3: axial T1_FL2D post-contrast (TR/TE 250/2.5 ms, scan time 1 min 16 sec, slice thickness 4 mm).

Imaging Findings:
An enhancing extra-axial mass in the floor of the anterior cranial fossa along the olfactory groove is seen on the axial and sagittal views. A second enhancing extra-axial mass along the right medial superior orbital ridge is also present. These well-marginated, dural-based lesions both demonstrate dense and uniform contrast enhancement consistent with meningiomas.
