Obstructive hydrocephalus, extraventricular, due to meningitis

The ventricles are prominent, with a generalized absence of sulci. There is abnormal high signal intensity on the FLAIR scans in the immediate periventricular region, consistent with interstitial edema due to increased ventricular pressure.
